Come join the Inpeco team and innovate with us Position Mission and main responsibilities Assists direct clients, partners and internal departments supporting Inpeco automation and middleware products, as well as traceability solutions. Performs on site activities (installations, upgrades, and add-ons) and training as required: Executes new Automation/IT installations by performing hardware installation, software & workflow configuration, creation of system layout files, channel communications and porting, analyzer/DMS connections, and test mapping. Troubleshoots a variety of software issues in addition to automation applications, configuration and workflow issues.
Performs remote and onsite support for our Total Laboratory Automation systems Provides expert escalation management at customer sites and maintains communication with Partners, customers and internal Inpeco departments. Assists partners and on-site personnel in troubleshooting hardware issues through the use of SMS and DAS software and applications Requirements Strong: Technical background / Engineering degree Knowledge of Application Software in healthcare Basic Networking knowledge Basic Linux knowledge Basic DB management knowledge Customer services/telephone support experience Ability to work independently Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and instructional skills with the ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences Willing to travel Work as a team member or leader with minimal supervision Able to perform under high stress environments Nice to have: Bachelors or master’s degree in biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer / Systems Engineering Lab Automation instruments experience Lab Middleware experience Intermediate Networking knowledge Intermediate DB knowledge Cisco or MySQL Certifications Basic hardware skills with experience in robotic US East Coast residing Other information Travel 50-70% of the time, mainly in North America.
