A well-established luxury lodge on the remote and beautiful Elephant Coast requires an Assistant Manager. Candidate must have experience in the luxury lodge environment and be a South African citizen of sober habits. Would suit someone with a love for the ocean and beach environment.
Reporting to the Lodge Manager. Requirements: Hospitality Diploma or Tertiary Qualification in Management Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Management role in a luxury lodge environment Driver’sLicence -valid PDP essential Ability to speak Zulu highly advantageous Opera/SEMPER Hospitality Software/IQ, MS Word, Excel/Office, Email/Outlook Valid First Aid Certification Focus on guest service delivery Other attributes: Eye for detail & good all-rounder in all aspects of the hotel – back of house and front of house Experience and ability to train staff Understanding of budget control and financial management and planning Excellent interpersonal skills Good health and physical fitness Strong work ethic Please note: we will only respond to Candidates that are short-listed.
