The Role: Known internally as Technical Lead – Cloud, Compute and Storage, you will be leading Mercury’s journey of cloud adoption.
You will be accountable for maximising value relating to Cloud, Compute and Storage and will work across the business to create solutions. This role will give you a great opportunity to make use of the majority of features and functions offered by our Public Clouds. You’ll be joining a team that is collaborative and supportive.

Key responsibilities include: Ensure existing and new solutions are designed and engineered as per agreed architectural constraints and requirements Translate the relevant high-level solution architecture elements into, when required, detailed solution designs Ensure individual architectures are designed and engineered in an effective and efficient manner that maximises current capabilities Provide ongoing guidance and steering to the technical teams during solution implementation and deployment Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior ICT leaders We are looking for: Formal training in software engineering and modelling notation, such as UML and Archimate AWS Certified Solutions Architect Significant experience in a commercial IT environment with at least 2 years in solution design function Strong technical experience and ability to effectively engage Mercury offers: Additional 5 days leave per annum (MyDays) Focus on health and wellbeing including $100 towards an annual health check Ongoing development and excellent career opportunities Discounted health insurance and free life and income insurance Flexible work environment – armed with your laptop and phone, you are able to balance your work and lifestyle.
