Value is derived from new and existing airport locations in terms of leveraging operational excellence CVP with new and existing customers and optimizing operations costs (balancing cost and margin levels). Dimensions: 15 airport locations (also covering GA aprons, where applicable) of sub-ordinates: 2 Shell shareholder responsibilities for ITP and FF facilities and activities in Germany Role includes Director responsibilities, where agreed with the Regional Operations Manager.
Principal Accountabilities: Work with the local HSSE Executives to implement the Shell HSSE-MS requirements including HEMP – HSSE Case, Management of Change, HRAs, SRAs, SSOW, etc. Develop and deliver an airport level HSSE plan with stakeholders. Ensure adherence to incident reporting procedures.
Demonstrates visible management commitment and leadership for the HSSE Hearts and Minds initiatives. Manage FF and ITP activities in Germany according to SAOM, SAQAM and JIG standards. Work with the Compliance team to ensure the audit / inspections are conducted in a timely fashion to identify non-conformances and deliver the gap closure action plans.
Lead the development of SCIP waivers, where applicable. COM takes the lead in (License to Operate) LtO requirements at the airport, e.g.
emergency services, environmental management and ERP drills. Managing relationship and contracts with agents and service providers. e.

Execujet or Skytanking Jointly responsible for airport profitability target by working with the Airport Optimisers and TSP Channel Optimisers on a tripartite basis to optimize C5 and Balance Sheet at each location including: Contributing to the airport profitability drivers; accountable for ITP competitiveness; Optimising POS costs including identifying and executing structural cost saving opportunities in both existing and new airports in the region. Supporting the selected customer portfolio with an fit for purpose Op Excellence CVP Implementing and managing the selected Operations Model for the location Establishing a target inventory range within the E2E supply chain and managing within these levels.
Managing the inventory net gains / losses and COSTA controls. Supporting business growth opportunities such as establishing and developing the operational requirements for New Airport Entries in Germany, lead the management of the training programmes for new operators / refuellers Ensure effective implementation and use of Data Capture Systems, FIDS and other systems that support scheduling and data collection and management. In conjunction with the front line, the service provider and with support from the Operational Excellence team identify and implement efficiency and productivity improvements from benchmarking studies, traffic surveys, fleet optimization tools, rosters and technology enabled process enhancements.
Manage the preventative maintenance plan and ensure processes are in place to perform all required checks as per the SAMM The Airport Optimser will have the primary relationship with the Airport Authority, the COM will develop relationships and participate in engagements around HSSE and operations including the emergency services Work with the EUSA Competence and Assurance lead to establish a competence development programme including timely and successful completion of ACE modules, succession planning and support career management. Develop and lead a culture of Continuous Improvement in Operations including embedding of Leader Standard Work, Visual Management, cultivating ‘Just Do It’ initiatives. Role should conduct a systemic programme of ‘Go See’ at the front line and lead the regular Structured Superintendent calls.
Work with European engineering team on annual Capex plan for country Assume nominated Director responsibilities for Fuel Farm and Into Plane JVs within the territory including conducting the required legal and fiduciary duties in this role. Ensure that fit for purpose business controls are used to meet relevant objectives in accordance with group guidelines and policies including responsibilities to shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers and 3rd parties. Where applicable be Shell’s representative on JV Operational and / or HSSE Committees.
Where Shell operates the TJVs, management fees should be determined and agree with partners per the WACC. KEY CHALLENGES: Embed and manage the HSSE and Compliance processes to ALARP; Work with the MACH Project team to establish the appropriate Operations Model consistent with the market lifecycle and competitive position and support migration to ‘To Be’ model. Lead the Continuous Improvement drive in UK including empowering and motivating different levels of the organization to identify Just Do It initiatives and embed the RFT processes, tools and behaviors.
As JV Director in addition to ensuring fit for purpose business controls are used to meet relevant Shell Group objectives, promote the implementation of good governance and compliance practices including HSSE performance; delivery of value and strategic plans. Requirements : Operations professional with people management experience who has the drive, communication skills and commercial acumen to make a significant impact to the business. Likely to have formal training in a physical science or engineering discipline.
Strong people management skills and demonstrated leadership ability both remotely and virtually. Demonstration of sound understanding of HSSE methodology and analysis with capability to effectively implement HSSE standards and authentically support Hearts and Minds initiatives; Operational and technical knowledge including joint venture and concession management practices Strong analytical skills, and the drive and ability to translate information into relevant actions.
