DFS is seeking to hire a Director, Digital Products who will be responsible for aligning digital, aftermarket, and lead generation tools across our global organization. This role is critical to the success of software alignment, adopting best practices and achieving cost reduction across the global organization. The optimal candidate will have proven experience researching effective digital technologies and tools, delivering cost and benefit analysis, and planning and managing deployment projects.
This position may be based from any of the following DFS locations: Austin, TX; Malmo, SE; Dundee, UK; Rio de Janeiro, BR; Guangzhou, CN; Mumbai, IN; remote-based applicants will be considered. Responsibilities: Knowledge Experienced with Software as a Service applications & design Extensive knowledge of Operations, Sales and Technical Support center environments Ability to navigate complex projects with ease Ability to learn and understand new tools and their applications quickly Think strategically and implement at a tactical level Management Proven and effective management of technology projects Ability to meet aggressive timelines and deliver projects in scope and on time Manage internal and external customer expectations Drive Global alignment, reducing cost and increasing internal and external customer satisfaction Develop business rules, workflow processes to achieve alignment across Services Manage internal, third-party deployment & Go-Live resources Own and drive projects to their end Administrative Design and document Business Requirements Deliver Cost Benefit Analysis and Business Case presentation Create Readiness Planning documentation Behavioral Requirements: Demonstrated business acumen; able to balance customer experience initiatives with business efficiency Fosters effective communication with team members for product release plans, status updates and issue reporting Track record of creating strong partnerships at all levels of the organization Demonstrated individual initiative and ability to influence events, rather than passively accept them, in order to achieve goals; proactive self-starter who goes beyond specific job responsibilities to ensure goals are achieved or exceeded Strong critical thinking skills; ability to solve complex problems, prioritize issues, and implement sensible solutions Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to absorb new concepts and facilitate discussions to deliver the best customer experience Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills Self-directed, positive and ethical role model with professional credibility, accountability, and the ability to thrive under pressure Effectively translation of strategy into tactical actions Ability to analyze and articulate technical concepts to non-IT business partners in a clear and concise manner Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Technology Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in SaaS environments/solutions
