Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a highly motivated and data-drivenDirector of eCommerce Performance Marketingwho will create the overall strategy and execution of our commercial marketing strategies and to-go market tactics.
In this role, you will manage an array of programs that effectively reach the business’s target buyers and drive individuals through the marketing and sales funnel. Additionally, you will build a strong brand presence across all digital platforms, both externally and internally. Who You Are A successful candidate will have an in-depth technical understanding of the proper platforms, tracking implementation, attribution modeling, and analysis required to make data informed decisions to test, optimize, and scale all types of commercial marketing programs effectively.
You also have:6 years of experience in a fast-paced eCommerce digital marketing environment Extensive experience leading a performance marketing team for online ecommerce A strong background in pay-per-click (PPC) management for SEM campaigns, programmatic display, and SEO The ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level- This is crucial A deep knowledge of display optimization with hands-on experience building out campaigns and a good understanding of customer funnels and attribution methods (multi-touch, first-touch, last-click, linear, data-driven) Strong cross-functional communication and collaborative skills able to build relationships with multiple departments within the company Proven track record in developing, implementing, and growing successful performance marketing strategies Skilled at using data and metrics to provide actionable insights, as well as determine optimizations Understand emerging technologies in digital media space and knowledge sharing with applicable teams Excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and presentation skills Big picture and innovative thinker with meticulous attention to detail High-energy, highly motivated, self-starter and will be attracted by the opportunity to have substantial and measurable impact on an organization and be part of a team that will significantly scale a business What You’ll Do We are building out a strategic leadership team for North America to strengthen our transformational journey and bring to life our exponential growth strategy in digital commerce. As Director, eCommerce Performance Marketing, North America GTS, you will lead a team that touches all aspects of the commercial marketing roadmap including keyword management, creation of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, audience targeting, creative testing, analytics, SEM, and technical know-how. Reporting directly to the President, eCommerce North America, you play an integral role in driving our organization through and to its digital future.
Specifically, you will:Partner with commercial leadership, executive team, and platform vendors to align on business growth strategy, and translate into go-to-market tactics Lead and develop a team responsible for management of paid search, SEO, SEM, programmatic display maintained internally or through agencies in support of commercial leadership for top sales channels Develop short- and long-term strategies, roadmaps, and oversee day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion, margins, and ROAS Manage and forecast a commercial marketing budget and continuously improve effectiveness and the ROAS of investments whilst meeting performance goals Digital marketing plays in the customer conversion path is required.
