You’ll have the opportunity to: Report directly to the VP, Global Head DEI partner with the full team to link our evolving DEI strategy to business strategy and OKRs, and develop a multi quarter strategy that aligns DEI goals with the business outcomes Further integrate our DEI beliefs and values throughout our holistic talent management framework piloting innovative solutions that advance all (and in particular, diverse) employee experience Champion and scale global initiatives – internal talent focused as well as external social impact focused Build, maintain and facilitate data-driven, high-impact resources in a variety of formats across multiple audiences to enable everyone to support and further our objectives Integrate key concepts of equity, allyship, inclusion, and diversity into existing talent management programs, learning and development, recruitment efforts, policies and practices Be a strong voice for inclusion and diversity at Zendesk across multiple stakeholders partnering effectively and regularly with aligned internal partners Recognize and respond to regional, local and remote employee’s diversity needs, issues and initiatives Provide support to the existing team’s efforts on Employee Resource Group (ERG)s to empower and strengthen our internal communities Partner with People Analytics and Learning & Development Teams to measure the impact and effectiveness of DEI initiatives and provide quarterly updates Build strategies to align to improve products and services from P&P Minimum Qualifications: 8 years of DEI work experience with a global perspective Strong business acumen and a demonstrable track record of leading & delivering global efforts for diversity, equity and inclusion Ability to link DEI into company objectives, including making a business case for systemic investments Experience liaising with HR driving diversity results – specifically in diversity recruiting, diverse talent management, advancement and retention programs Demonstrated proficiency in diversity data analysis, linking efforts to return on investment and diversity metrics globally Strong interpersonal communication, consulting, facilitation, influencing and people leadership combined with project/program management skills Passionate about DEI- influencer ability to reach cross functional and executive leaders, and lead change initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders Highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate sophisticated ideas, unique concepts, and proposals to enroll team, peers, and management. Excellent writing and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in technology sector preferred, understanding and connections within the SAAS DEI space eg.
