Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health is in a period of growth and evolution. We are a tight knit and supportive group of professionals who are passionate about working in a skilled, evidence informed, and compassionate manner with clients across the lifespan.
While we have primarily been working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are usually located in the heart of South Melbourne. Within our team we have an Eating Disorder Team with four psychologists and one dietitian which we are looking to grow along with the wider practice. Both our psychologists and dietitian are at capacity, and we are therefore eager to fill the roles below as soon as possible.
You are likely to suit our team if you are: Excited about your vocation, and about bringing evidence informed approaches to each client in a person-centred manner. You enjoy having positive and supportive relationships with your colleagues and are eager to participate in peer supervision and team events. You have the capacity to work autonomously throughout the day including taking responsibility for basic administration tasks.
You bring a positive, open, and solutions focussed attitude to the workplace. Experienced Psychologist: We are looking for an experienced psychologist to see adult clients who is able to hit the ground running quickly working up to seeing six clients per clinical day between two and four days a week. Experience in working with clients with Eating Disorders is a preference, but not a requirement.
We have clinicians who are attracting referrals for clients who experience trauma, attachment difficulties, adult ASD spectrum disorders, as well as a steady stream of general adult referrals. We work with each clinician to support them to attract and see clients that are experiencing difficulties in their areas of interest. Leadership opportunities may arise for the right candidate as the business continues to grow.
Clinical Registrar or Early Career Psychologist: We are looking for passionate and dedicated early career psychologists who can see adults and young people across a range of presentations. Informal supervision will be provided to support new clinicians to settle in to working in a private practice environment. Dietitian: We are looking for a dietitian with an interest and experience in eating disorders to join the team, alongside our current dietitian Kess.
We would love to welcome a non-diet dietitian who is HAES informed to support our clients. You will see clients across the spectrum of disordered eating, eating disorders, and other health concerns. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our psychologists, with regular peer supervision.
We are looking for someone to start at one day a week (with possibility of growth in the future). We are looking for someone with experience in this area, but more importantly loves the work. If you are passionate about weight inclusive care, eating disorder recovery and rebuilding a positive food relationship with food wed love to hear from you.
As well as growing our clinical team, Person Centred Psychology and Allied Health is in the process of growing its administrative team. While we are not yet advertising for these roles, we are also open to integrating administrative duties in to clinical roles for those who want to balance their workload.
