Behind our product are the amazing teams driving it, split between Paris, New York, Sydney, Madrid, and remote locations.We are looking for a tech-savvy attorney to serve as a Product Counsel on a quickly growing team.The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an exciting, high-growth, fast-paced, sales-driven culture and will be responsible for reviewing new products and feature enhancements for compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards including telecom regulations.
As an integrated part of the team, you proactively assess legal risks and seek input from internal subject matter experts.Specifically, you will develop a deep understanding of our products, issue spot, review inputs and approvals from internal stakeholders (including regulatory, data protection, product, engineering, marketing, IP), and monitor launched products for on-going product compliance. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of issues related to legal telecom regulations, privacy, open source, data security, encryption requirements, and third-party licensing, with support from internal SMEs.
What you’ll doProviding day-to-day advice on regulations impacting the, development, distribution, and marketing of Aircall’s product suiteMonitoring latest telecom regulatory developments and providing input to the product teams on such developmentsImplementing and maintaining telecom regulatory compliance policies and processesWork closely with our product teamMonitoring and advising the business of upcoming regulatory changes with support from relevant subject matter expertWhat you’ll bringExperience in the telecommunications or wireless technology industry is a must.Master 2 in law or European equivalent, JD from an accredited law school, or LLM degree.At least 7 years of relevant work experience either in a law firm or in house.
Excellent attention to detail.Proven ability to professionally manage time, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and process a high volume of work in a timely and accurate manner.Proven ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team.
Proven ability to spot problems and develop and lead the implementation of appropriate solutions.Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of personnel and enforce legal requirements without alienating clients.Demonstrated ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information.
