The Sophos suite of products secures networks and endpoints against automated and active-adversary breaches, ransomware, malware, exploits, data exfiltration, phishing, and more Job Purpose: Focusing primarily on the Core Sophos Solutions (User and Network Protection), the main responsibilities of the role include onsite / remote technical consulting to end user in relating to moving Sophos solutions into production, providing certified administration training, health checks and upgrades on existing implementations and best practice cyber security advice. Main Duties: Deliver high quality Technical Consultancy to maximise customer satisfaction with their purchased Sophos solution and in support of subsidiary revenue targets Conduct in-depth needs analysis with prospect/customers technical staff to determine requirements and specifications of Professional Services solutions in line with Sophos best practices Develop and maintain customer documentation such as Statements of Work, Delivery Reports, Best Practice Recommendations etc. On completion of any chargeable activity ensure that the work undertaken is fully documented and archived in accordance with Sophos Professional Services agreed process.
Participate fully in Professional Services internal processes, such as activity tracking for Utilization and Revenue reporting etc Deliver presentations, internally and at customer sites, to provide technical and process training and in support of the Sophos Services value proposition Support the sales and Technical Support to understand the issues faced by customers and identify ways to add value through the delivery of Professional Services solutions to help remedy issues Actively participate in regular team meetings by providing feedback on current day to day and future planned activity Provide technical training to customers Other duties as required in support of Sophos strategic goals Skills & Experience: Higher / Further Education Experience of supporting customers within a strategic high-level IT environment Experience of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft enterprise solutions, including Desktop, Server, IIS, SQL, Active Directory, Azure etc. Experience with enterprise networked environments and enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routers, gateways, firewalls, DNS, LDAP, Apache) Experience of working to defined levels of service delivery Installation of Networking hardware, such as firewalls Deep technical knowledge of security concepts and business requirements Ability to assess technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions Computer Skills – Setting up, upgrading, trouble shooting, installation and Configuration Strong analytical and problem solving Customer service – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written Planning and organisational Ability to prioritise within a high workload Willingness to travel – mostly DACH region with very occasional trips to Europe / USA Post Covid-19, It is expected that an average of 50%%%% of the time will be spent in the field working on customer sites (up to 3 days a week) – predominantly but not exclusively within the DACH region – requiring travel outside normal business hours and regular overnight stays.
