The Business Change Project Manager is responsible for the effective organisation and management of key projects within Vistra (predominately the Netherlands) and will leverage his/her experience in other European markets if and when needed.The role includes responsibility for the successful end-to-end delivery of change through all stages of the Vistra Change Framework in order to deliver to our group objectives, goals, strategies and measures (OGSM’s).Working with the Regional Portfolio Manager and project stakeholders from the Business, Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk and Compliance ;This position is available for 40 hours per week and is based in our Amsterdam office, which is located in a brand new location in the South East area of Amsterdam.

Of course Vistra supports working at home for now but working from home will also be stimulated in the future as soon as there are no more restrictions related to Covid ;Key Responsibilities Ensure adherence to Vistra’s change framework, governance, project management standards and templates from concept through to post-delivery. Work with stakeholders to progress concepts into project proposals and project proposals into value added outcomes.
Stakeholders include representatives from the Business, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance teams. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource plans. Identify risks, issues, dependencies and manage resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Organise and manage project meetings, produce meeting notes, actions and RAID logs. Manage project execution proactively and take ownership of project deliverables. Provide timely project status reports, manage and report on the project budget to stakeholders and the Regional Portfolio Manager.
Plan and coordinate UAT liaising with technology and business stakeholders to develop test cases. Track and manage the execution of test cases. Develop and maintain end user documentation and training.
Work with the Operations and Business teams to transition the project to BAU. Build relationships with European Project Managers, share best practises and leverage expertise across the region.Qualifications and Other Requirements University degree, preferably in a business, finance or computer science discipline.
10 years of work experience in a project management capacity using structured methods. Project management qualification such as MSP, Prince2 or PMI is essential. Experience of offshoring projects moving BAU functions from a donor country to a Shared Service centre.
Experience in the Trust, Fiduciary, Fund & Corporate Services industry would be desirable (eg. knowledge of Management Accounting & Payroll, Fund Accounting & Reporting processes). Experience in rolling out business systems applications in a financial/professional services organisation.
Proven ability to deliver projects requiring both technology and business change. Experienced at managing senior stakeholders across the full range of business and technology functions including Executive level. The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across various internal and external functions.
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and lead a project team. Highly organised, attention to detail, outstanding follow through skills and the ability to work independently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tenacity, confidence and resilience to deliver high quality results. Proven ability to define and manage project resources and budgets. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.
