How you’ll make an impact The Central Regional Director is a key team member to the Partner Sales Leadership team in the Americas.
This role will drive efficiencies in the region’s Xero accounting community. You will have the opportunity to build processes and support the challenges of a hyper-growth SaaS business. We are still building and developing existing processes, and you will be a part of those developments.
This role is responsible for managing, growing and developing the central sales territory within the US while working with reps in the region to drive the sales strategy. You will manage a team of Account Executives and Account Managers. This role may be located in Xero’s US HQ in Denver OR remotely in one of Xero’s central communities; Austin, Dallas, Houston or Chicago.
What you’ll do People Management of your region’s partner sales team. You should actively coach and mentor your team, having regular conversations that focus on their performance and professional development, while holding your team accountable for regional sales goals Contribute to GTM strategy in region, including planning, forecasting and execution Drive collaboration with other partner resources such as education, partner evangelism, sales enablement, channel marketing, and sales operations Recruitment and management of partners in the accounting and bookkeeping channel Relationship management of key accounts for the region Development and management of Partner Program for the region Delivery of Xero introductory events to prospective partners, as well as continued education organizations on all available partner resources Ensure all sales calls and tickets are responded to effectively and efficiently Ensure a formal account engagement plan is developed and continually reviewed Monitor partner progress through the sales cycle Ensure CRM system is updated with all client communications Work closely with Enablement to deliver marketing business plan Work in a dotted line fashion with Partner Services and Marketing to deliver on results Provide region updates at weekly Sales Leadership Meetings Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills The ability to influence and drive a sales team Solid industry knowledge, contacts and networks Strong sales and people leadership skills and experience Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders Process driven and willing to take ownershipPassion and desire to make a difference Experience Proven experience in a sales leadership role with proven ability to increase sales through the development of high performance teams and effective sales processes Strong knowledge of the accounting and bookkeeping industry a plus Extensive knowledge of SaaS models, SaaS metrics, and online sales models Indefatigable drive and demonstrably effective sales leadership methodologies
