HemoCue joined the Danaher portfolio in 2013. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager Italy , who will be remote-based preferably in Milan or Rome . This is a brand-new role in Italy, who will report to Sr.
Regional Sales Manager Europe. Key responsibilities: Lead and grow HemoCue’s core business in Italy in conjunction with the local distributor Fully map out all existing customers (blood bank and hospitals) and build strong relationships with key customers Chart all tenders for 3 years ahead including those currently held by the competition Develop plans to influence upcoming tenders towards HemoCue’s offering Optimize roll out and adoption of HemoCue products under contract Settle and recommend optimal go to market approach considering all available sales channels as well as operational set up, e.g.
logistics partner Create and execute plans to develop new business at hospitals in key regions, focusing on Hb, Glu, HbA1c through sales channels Evaluate and map out business opportunities in primary care and diabetes monitoring. Key requirements: B. Sc.
in biomedical sciences or equivalent. at least 5 years experience with sales of medical devices or diagnostic products, implementing sales strategies and experience of working with a direct sales force and channel routes to market. proven track record of executing strategy by implementing growth plans.
Must possess a good understanding of the diagnostics product market in the Italian market and excellent knowledge of the tender process. Proficient English is a must experienced IT user, preferably with solid knowledge of MS CRM and MS Outlook. Able to travel on average 70% of the working time Results driven, proactive and a systematic, problem-solving oriented way of thinking.
Can identify performance barriers and timely deliver under challenging circumstances. Proven experience with independently implementing commercial strategies within the region Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, flexible, inter-cultural, global mindset. High degree of customer focus, strong clinical & technical understanding.
A highly motivated, high-energy individual with drive, and the ability to respectfully and efficient balance between own and others interest and view of opinions. Stress resilient, able to work in a high-pressure environment (but within a respectful, open, and collaborative culture).
