This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We’re seeking a Senior Application Developer (Full-Stack Engineer II) to join our Enterprise Financial Messaging team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Help us to develop, support and maintain the critical SWIFT Messaging Infrastructure.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for the application and act like an owner.
- Participate in design, analysis, coding and successful deployment of the application in production.
- Participate in troubleshooting issues, incidents and propose solutions.
- Help to improve resiliency by focusing on monitoring and alerting. Secure the application from vulnerabilities.
- Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 8 + years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required.
- Good proficiency in software development (especially Java 11 or higher, SQL, Unix/Linux scripting) preferred
- Strong experience in SDLC, DevOps processes – CI/CD tools, Git, etc.
- 7+ years of experience in SWIFT Messaging applications with hands-on experience on any of the following applications: AMH, SAA, SAG, AWP
- Solid Understanding of Messaging frameworks like IBM MQ
- Experience in the banking/financial services industry is a plus.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation, and documentation of solution.
