Your tasksAs a Senior Backend Developer, you will join our new architecture team responsible for evolving our technical stack to ensure its scalability, extensibility and maintenance over time. You will work on all projects (frontend, backend, data-engineering, Salesforce, QA, DevOps) to improve the overall architecture.The first few months will see a strong focus on the application backend (Python) in order to evolve the “services” architecture of the project without impacting the daily development of the development teams.
Your missions will include 3 main axes:Technical design :Participate in the specification and roadmap phases to understand future technical issues,You will be responsible for the development of the product architecture to improve the technical quality of our projects,Understand the day-to-day issues and problems of the technical teams in order to identify priority developments,Ensure consistency and synergy between projects, and maximise synergiesCode quality :Training and mentoring of more junior developers to help them become more competent,Framing, identifying gaps and writing documentation to improve our technical knowledge base of the project,Evolving our standards and processes to improve the technical quality of our services,Development:Participate actively in the implementation of the chosen technical solutions,Occasional intervention in the development of the functionalities of our projectsYou will be involved in the whole technical stack of papernest, you will have to work on many projects and technologies. The main ones are:Python, django, flask, FastAPI on backend projects,Typescript and Angular on the frontend,Airflow and BigQuery (GCP) for the data-engineering pipeline,Salesforce as an operational sales tool,A dockerised infrastructure fully hosted on AWS,Functional testing tools and application functionality using browser pools with selenium.Profile requiredYou have a previous development experience of at least 2/3 years,You have a solid knowledge of software engineering,You are able to explain & present the chosen technical solutions,You are interested in understanding the business issues: technology is important and present to support the business.

He has acquired the official title of Python Charmer, a charm that he deploys daily in the papernest back-end to produce sites that run at lightning speed.
You’ll also work with Raphaël, our Head of Development. Raphaël is in the gym at 8am and on the ground at 8pm. He knows how to pass on his obsession with being at the cutting edge to his teams.
