The primary purpose of the role will be; Definition and execution of the brand and marketing plans in UK & Emerging markets, for all platforms and formats including mobile products in alignment with the European and global brand strategy.
Manage the brand and marketing resources for all European branches to optimise marketing investment and sales support. Manage the brand and marketing initiatives for all distribution regions in collaboration with branches to optimise marketing investment and sales support. Brand ownership for all core IPs in the defined territory Creation and implementation of world class brand & marketing campaigns; from strategy to execution per franchise ensuring alignment and approval by central Brand team and relevant stakeholders.
Define marketing goals, KPI’s and activation with brand teams including, but not limited to: product positioning, target audiences, market sizing, regional marketing plan etc. Close working relationship with central European Brand & Communications teams to secure support, and influence direction of marketing and sales materials to ensure relevant assets that can be effectively used by local distributors. Manage budget allocated by the Brand management teams.
Manage and guide a team of Brand and marketing resources in the European branches Manage and drive the European branches implementation of the brand strategy and plan across community, social and other channels by defining a set of clear objectives for each field. To develop a close working relationship with different regional offices (Northern, Central and Southern Europe, Iberia, US & Latin America and Asia) to share best practise ideas. On-going ROI analysis and post-mortem of branches marketing activities and sharing of information with relevant teams to improve future planning.
Create positive team ethic and work environment that delivers team work. Skills & Experience: Extensive experience in brand building, marketing, lifecycle management and communications ideally in the entertainment industry. Must have excellent understanding of new media and the importance of consumer insight.
Experienced in managing European teams either regionally or locally. Commercially focused to ensure return on investment. Strong B2B focus.
Proven experience of executing brand sales and marketing plans at a local level within the entertainment industry. Understanding of digital games marketing and distribution, the key local players and associated business models. Direct knowledge of Middle East, Russia, India and other emerging markets is a plus.
Highly organised with a proficiency in MS Office products Tactful, diplomatic, creative and culturally sensitive with an ability to work independently as required.
