Close collaboration with the Engine Development team to define a realistic, executable and value added validation plan Determine time schedules, resources and the associated costs, search for cost competitive solution Compile and check specifications for field validation, select suitable customer sites according validation requirements, plan and coordinate field validation activities and engine modifications; organise and plan parts shipment as well with the System & Component Owners; Ensure configuration to validate is per specification and according to field validation plan; prepare customer documentation and input to field validation contracts Planning, tracking and monitoring of ongoing field validations via remote monitoring and at customer sites world wide Planning and execution of dedicated engine investigations in the field at customer sites Analysis investigation results and interpret parts/engine conditions with the System / Component owner Invite and run engine inspection meetings, hand over to component owners for detailed inspections Prepare written validation reports, coordinate input and present validation results and validation progress within reviews Single point of contact for business stakeholders for field validation on the assigned platform Your Profile: Bachelors/Master degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or similar specialization Several years of experience in engine/component test and validation techniques Good Knowledge in reciprocating engines technology and their systems Knowledge of software integration and validation, engine calibration and parameter management Comfortable with technical presentations Analytical Mindset coupled with result driven, proactive working style Working knowledge of tools (DFMEA; DVP&R) Working knowledge on methods and development models (V-model, agile methods like Scrum) Team player, comfortable in an international environment and have good oral and written communication skills preferably in both German and English (at least one language fluent) Willingness to travel (approx. 40%) A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application) The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3711,63 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
