About the role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Product Manager with technical depth, product intuition, user empathy and entrepreneurial spirit to evolve our growing product portfolio.
You will be in a close quarter of user problems to design and engineer solutions that modernize the working relationship and help employers deliver fairer, more inclusive financial benefits, which improve the lives of their employees and help them give their best at work. Read on… What you’ll do: Internalize and deeply understand Xerpa’s purpose, envisioned future, and BHAGs, as well as how the Product Strategy factor into those. Distill the vision and strategy for your product and squad, generate enthusiasm across the cross-functional members through storytelling, creative problem solving and ruthless prioritization. Partner with Research, Product Design, Engineering, Operations, Growth, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams to seek insights on hidden user problems.
Be truth-seeking and data-informed. Collect whatever data is necessary to inform product direction by soliciting and embracing critical feedback from clients, users, and partner teams. Negotiate priorities based on facts and data.
Clearly communicate plans, insights, data, and results to a spectrum of audiences including your squad, other product teams, executives, and other decision-makers across Xerpa, its partners and investors. Guarantee buy-in and alignment. Prioritize and lead squads by influence to ship best-in-class products/features that help us towards the goal of improved well-being for the majority of working Brazilians.
Effectively demo your product to prospective customers, train customers on how to successfully use it, and handle difficult live customer support inquiries. Identify opportunities for new products/features that leverage Xerpa’s flywheel (Fintech HR Tech) to provide unique and lasting customer value. We solve user problems while we build an exciting and lasting company.
Experience in ownership and optimization of business performance metrics. What you’ll need: Minimum of 6 years experience in a Product Management or Startup CEO/CPO role delivering highly successful products/features within a tech company or digital business – you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished. Depth, expertise, and pragmatism.
You have visionary ideals for perfecting working relationship and employee wellness and can apply them in a business environment. Passion. You’re excited and equipped to share our message on wellness to winning user trust, the industry, and other experts.
You have know-how in a wide digital product development toolset, combining techniques for product discovery, product delivery, and product optimization, as well as frameworks like Jobs To Be Done, Design Thinking, Lean Startup and Agile. You have a proven track record of [choose two]: (a) developing a new product from scratch, (b) leading a young product to Product Market-Fit, (c) considerably growing the user/customer base of an existing product, and/or (d) refactoring and modernizing a legacy product. You have superior user empathy and design instincts with a keen eye for detail, with a track record of shipping products with intuitive designs that speak for customer love and value.
Your product instincts are matched by your humility and willingness to problem-solve with others. You are an enabler not a blocker. You seek to mentor and share your knowledge with others.
Strong leadership and communications skills at Xerpa, you will need to lead through influence, inspire and motivate your colleagues, and educate cross-team stakeholders on product decisions and diligent process. You have a great sense of what doing ‘the right thing’ is, allied with an excellent business judgment, and desire to have a direct impact on our users’ lives and on our company results. Bachelor’s Degree in a field like Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent work experience.
Written, verbal communication and presentation skills in Portuguese and English. Strong experience and know-how with the challenges, regulations, risks, competitive landscape, and trends related to B2C and B2B financial products. Strong experience and know-how with the challenges, competitive landscape, and trends related to HR-Tech products, as well as the employment laws and regulations.
Previous entrepreneurial experience as a founder or part of a founding team. Previous work experience with OKRs. International professional experience.
