The opportunity Our Industrial team is managing a significant portfolio of work for one of our key client’s at their pulp and paper site in Kinleith.
We are responsible for managing the suite of projects for the mill’s capital and non-routine maintenance program with an on-site based team as well as from a variety of remote offices. We are currently looking for an Area Program Manager to join our onsite team. Although the tasks for the role change daily, you will be responsible for: The delivery of capital and non-routine maintenance projects for a section of the mill Interfacing between the client’s area production and maintenance managers Planning and coordination of projects, including coordination with site-wide shut planning activities Management and coaching of team members, consultants and contractors Kinleith is located adjacent to Tokoroa, which is in the heart of New Zealand’s forestry industry.

About you You will have the natural ability to manage projects, project teams, budgets, engage with and control of sub-consultants, and be familiar with project quality systems. Being experienced in delivering multi-disciplinary projects, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to build trust across multiple stakeholders. Ideally you would have gained this experience in the pulp and paper industry where you planned and coordinated the implementation of projects during maintenance shutdowns, however we are interested in speaking with anyone who has relevant industrial project experience.
