You will design and build incredible demo stories, manage demo scripts and global assets that support IDO asset owners and our Solution Engineers to bring world-class technology demonstrations to life for high value customers making a meaningful social impact in the world.

The mission of the Solution Development team is to bring to life the most relevant and efficient demo environments for use by our Solution Engineers (SEs).
Each demo environment incorporates the latest product capabilities that Salesforce has to offer, and is then tailored to meet the needs of our customers and prospects to tell their individual Customer 360 stories. Role Description: We are looking for a Solution Developer to join our team to provide general development across various industries and products for our reusable demo assets, as well as highly customized one off demos for strategic accounts. This is your chance to work with an incredible team of Solution Engineers and Solution Developers to help us define future innovation for our prospects and customers.
In this role, the Solution Developer will leverage a variety of skills and a strong salesforce development background to configure solutions using the full spectrum of Salesforce technologies. In this role you’ll be responsible for deep dive discovery, requirements gathering, design, development, script documentation, demo video creation and content management. Your Impact: As a Senior Solution Developer your responsibilities include: Execute and bring together various industry plays for our Solutions demo assets.
Provide deep technical knowledge and configuration across the NGO, EDU and Digital Engagement industries. Work with IDO Solution Developer owners to understand the vision and execute the configuration within specific assets. Establish and maintain standardized QA processes for the delivery of all configuration and plays going into our assets Manage the asset script demo playbooks with regular updates as new products are released into our assets.
Support custom demo delivery with SE’s for opportunities over a certain threshold. Partner with industry stakeholders within the organization, including the industry product & marketing teams, on product roadmap, requirements gathering, and identification of use case priority based on demand and market opportunity. Architect and build end-to-end Salesforce demos that cross multiple solutions and platforms, both Salesforce and 3rd party.
Understand and implement the newest Salesforce features, keeping up with the fast pace of 3x/year Salesforce product releases. This is an environment where you are always learning. Monitor and respond to demo related questions: troubleshoot issues with the demo environment and collaborate with technical teams as needed to resolve them.
Support ongoing SE Enablement which includes handoffs, scripts, videos, how-tos and more. Deliver demo trainings to Solution Engineers and communicate demo release updates. Support and deliver related product demonstrations at Salesforce.
org events and participate in customer meetings as technical industry expert. Basic Requirements: B.S.
Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, MBA, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 4-5 years work experience. Extensive experience administering Salesforce and a deep understanding of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform, specifically in nonprofit and education sectors.
Certified Salesforce Administration, Salesforce Advanced Admin, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer I Expert in all Salesforce clouds, including Nonprofit Cloud, and Education Cloud; experience Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot a plus Great configuration and development skills, paired with ability to demonstrate solutions through storytelling Technical aptitude to understand data models, system integration, data migration, and how to implement Salesforce. Has proven experience overseeing technical development process of bringing new solutions to market. Working knowledge and experience with ALM tools including Salesforce DX.
Preferred Requirements: Experience as a sales or demo engineer. Experience working in the nonprofit or education industry. Certified Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect.
