The Role Responsibilities The Global securities transformation programme (Project Stride) is seeking to fill a Senior Test Strategist/Lead role within the programme.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Define a test strategy for the programme, and recommended implementation approach. Design automation capability requirements, degree of incremental testing and integration with agile ways of working. The outcome being to deliver a Test Strategy and Implementation Framework Test Lead Role, build an appropriate testing stream execution capability and then lead/scrum master this stream.
Vendor Engagement- ensure vendor testing quality and alignment Whilst this is a lead role, the candidate must be prepared to roll up his/her sleeves and get hands on as appropriate in the following: Preparation of test scenarios and test cases Identify the test data required to complete designated test activities Deliver effort estimation and reporting on progress Ensure that the bank testing framework is followed from test strategy to test closure reports Front to Back Test Coordination and Management involving multiple applications and multiple teams Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback (Backlog review) Test data/Environment setup in-coordination with upstream/downstream teams Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills The resource would need to be a Senior Test Practitioner, with extensive experience (10 years) of delivery and risk challenges associated with cross border/complex matrix programmes. Have a proven track record of designing and developing comprehensive test strategy and recommendations of best practice and approach to agile delivery. Able to demonstrate thought leadership in testing best practice, and supporting tools.
Experience peopleleader and able to manage teams remotely, as this person responsible for a small team of people operating out of india Able to provide strategic approach in parallel with build/execution Senior stakeholder engagement experience. Able to produce appropriate level reporting for Steering Committee Meetings and Senior Leadership Highly experienced in test automation solutions and implementations Detailed understanding of software development life cycle and importance of QA in development and maintenance of software app Solid knowledge of JIRA,Confluence, XML and Excel, Cucumber,Python and Gherkin. Agile,Devops Knowledge Strong Vendor management experience,as the development is outsourced to the vendor Strong communication skills Scrum Master certified Financial Markets Product experience whilst not mandatory , High desirable Desirable but not Essential Understanding of financial markets business – front/middle/back office.
