Job Summary The Services APJ Early Talent Program Co-ordinator is responsible for end to end management, co-ordination and execution of APJ’s Early Talent Program covering all aspects from attraction, selection, development and retention of our early talent workforce.
The Program Co-ordinator must possess the qualifications and business acumen to execute a thriving growing early talent program which spans organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners within APJ. The role of the Program Co-ordinator includes : Taking lead of the program and provide day to day oversight of administrative and operational functions in order to achieve project sustainability and success in accordance with defined targets, strategies and goals. Understanding the region’s strategic business objectives and activities necessary to execute accordingly and perform them in adherence to our SAP guidelines.
Maintaining a clear vision of the Program and the business environment, anticipating the course of action to proactively manage operational and business risk and align accordingly with Business leaders. Hiring of the Early Talents during their participation in the Services Academy for Graduates and responsible for setting goals, training & development, team and individual organization, performing assessments and evaluating performance. Providing mentoring and coaching to Early Talents, Hiring Managers, Host Managers, Mentors, and Key Stakeholders, defining individual objectives and priorities, evaluating performance and facilitates success.
Performing Program and Project Reviews and reinforces enterprise knowledge management through the communication of lessons learned, best practices development, and active contribution to Regional Communities and Practices. Communicating and collaborating effectively with various parties involved in the Early Talent Program such as the Market Unit Leads, Hiring Manager, Host Manager, Mentors, Early Talents, STAR Program Manager, Diversity & Inclusion teams. Overseeing the Early Talent program daily operations, co-ordinate activities of the program and set priorities for managing the program.
Covering the scope of the Early Talent Program which includes Student Training and Rotational (STAR)/Vocational Training interns participating in a Services job rotation, Graduate who has less than 3 year of professional experience and Young talents who are under the age of 30 years old. Key Responsibilities and Tasks The key areas of responsibilities of a Program Co-ordinator may include: Support planning and co-ordination of the program and activities Prepare regular APJ program status updates covering progress against target goals Ensure implementation of policies and practices Monitor project budget and track expenditures / transactions Manage communications across various teams and across countries to ensure alignment Serves as a central point of contact between students, host managers, mentors, buddies, market unit early talent teams on day-to-day programmatic, operational, and administrative matters; assists with meetings, special projects, and/or general problem resolution. Act as hiring manager for the duration early talent graduate is participating in the Services APJ Graduate Academy Drive Early Talent Program demand planning activities with various Market Units and Functions in APJ Be involved in the Early Talent Hiring and Selection process and collaborate with the Talent Attraction team Execution and delivery of Early Talent program covering onboarding, foundation training, job rotations, focus training, assessments, headcount planning with market unit leads, career development etc.
, Ensure Early Talent Assessment process and feedback is carried out for all parties involved (Early Talent, Host Manager, Hiring Manager, Buddy) Support Early Talent career development and continuous learning Build and continue to actively grow Early Talent communities within the region Ensure lessons learnt are captured and feedbacks provided to appropriate stakeholders. Celebrate Program success with teams, using SAP Awards practices, internal communication to the region and to the team leadership. Escalate issues/risks and seek support when needed, coordinate recovery activities, stakeholders engagement as necessary.
Be responsible for maintenance of the Early Talent program on an on-going basis Alignment, collaboration and co-ordination with STAR Program Manager as it relates to the Services job rotations, development plans and headcount conversion into the Services Academy for Graduate program Experience and Language requirements Functional Experience 1-3 years of co-ordinating and coaching experience in teambuilding and co-ordinating with teams. Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams within a formalized methodology Demonstrates strong business acumen and has a learning professional background Sound knowledge of program management and development procedures International Experience Some international implementation experience is desired. General Business Experience Previous working experience as a Program Co-ordinator for 1-3 years or relevant position Co-ordination of remote resources (global delivery or distributed organization) Cultural awareness and experience working across different cultures and nationalities Strong co-ordination skills and people management skills Ability to manage and collaborate with a diverse workforce Excellent organizational and time management skills Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Attention to details Proactive problem solver Education Required undergraduate university degree, preferably in human resources, business or equivalent training and job experience.
