Job Summary The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Director and play a critical role in the coordination and execution of business planning, forecasting, and other financial requirements across the team. The Senior Analyst is expected to provide financial perspectives and analysis to lead and evaluate the financial strategies of the global GCX team supported. Responsibilities will also include assisting with month end close and financial system uploads.
This will include working closely with Accounting and GCX teams. The individual must possess excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work with and support leadership. Scope / ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of reporting and any ad hoc analysis required by business unit management Assist with annual budget and quarterly review processes Partner with leaders to develop realistic financial plans and forecasts aligned to GCX goals Manage monthly close process in conjunction with cross-functional teams Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of actual results Long-term strategic plan development Action process improvement projects to gain efficiencies in reporting and forecasting cycles Provide financial support for new initiatives and ad hoc data requests Skills & ExperienceAbility and structure to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results Working knowledge of accounting principles Strong analytical skills with ability to manipulate, aggregate, filter, and summarize large data sets into actionable insights Ability to present and communicate at all levels with self-confidence Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally and across business boundaries to solve issues and drive projects to completion Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion HFM and SAP or their equivalent SAP Possess Leadership Qualities in Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Vision, Boundarylessness, Stretch, and Speed Ability to work independently; self-motivated Requirements3 to 5 years’ experience, with a degree in Accounting/Finance Experience in a dynamic, large company environment preferred Experience with financial analysis, reporting, and/or budgeting
