Job Description Reporting to the Finance Head Brazil, this position will lead the Oracle EBS implementation in Brazil and will also be responsible for the relationship with the Financial Shared Service center in Ireland and the local Outsourcing company for all Financial activities, including RTR (Record to Report) and PTP (Procurement to Pay), as well as the relationship with different Financial areas in the headquarter (Controllership, Tax, Internal Audit, Accounting and FP&A) and the support on several FP&A activities, like OPEX planning and control. Main responsibilities: – Relationship with FSS (RTR and PTP): attend monthly calls, support BS reviews, approve new supplier forms, review POs, assess tax calculations – Relationship with Outsourcing company for Accounting, Tax and PTP – Support to local team on PTP processes/issues and Accounting questions – Training of local team on PTP and Expense Reimbursement process (Concur) – Local support to Corporate Tax, Controllership and Internal Audit teams – Audit of Expense Reimbursement documents (sample) – Management of local vendors and process for Mobile services, Car Leasing and Fuel Card – Monitor local Travel and Expense policy – Foster process alignment within the region – Support business decisions with local tax and accounting perspectives – Assess need for accrual/deferral of expenses – Work with headquarters on revenue recognition process – Support FP&A activities: Budget, LEs and management reports – Act as a back-up for the Finance Head whenever required Knowledge, skills & experience: – CPA / Strong accounting skills with experience in a multinational finance environment – Previous experience in the Healthcare business – Strong interpersonal and communications – Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills are required – Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the objective – Organized with systematic approach to prioritization – Oracle EBS Gilead Core Values – Integrity (always doing the right thing), – Teamwork (collaborating in good faith), – Excellence (working at a high level of commitment and capability), – Accountability (taking personal responsibility), For Current Gilead Employees and Contractors: Please log onto your Internal Career Site to apply for this job.
