By engaging with your content, employees will find value in a long-term career at Fannie Mae while also connecting organically to our mission and business strategy.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Strategic HR Communications – Senior Associate (Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care, so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and support the Human Resources partners by helping advance their strategic communications goals, change management initiatives, and employee engagement in support of business priorities.
  • Educate employees about our business and mission through storytelling and data-driven communications channels and tactics.
  • Partner with Marketing and External Communications colleagues on integrated strategic communications campaigns.
  • Take ownership of work end to end by creating, implementing, and overseeing communications deliverables.
  • Demonstrate independent thinking and solid decision-making skills.
  • Support authoring, reviewing, or contributing to internal campaigns and editorial calendars (blogs, creative briefs, articles) that may have a broader reach externally.

QualificationsMinimum Required Experiences

  • 2-3 years

Desired Experiences

  • Prior experience developing strategic communications plans and implementing them across a business segment or enterprise.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Area of study – communications, marketing, or public affairs preferred.

  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change, meet strategic objectives, and address employee sentiment and feedback.
  • Experience defining and managing changes to documents, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version.
  • Skilled in relationship management, including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and building strong networks.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively toward a common goal.
  • Skilled in influencing, including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.

Tools

  • Skilled in collaborating across Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using Google Analytics or other metrics tracking programs.
  • Experience using SharePoint content management, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar CRM), Adobe Workfront or digital signage software a plus.
