Technology Lead (NL-20-081): The Technology Lead performs and directs duties on-site at Scott AFB in support of a Govt customer. The Technology Lead interfaces with numerous on-site and remote commercial, DoD, service, and common-user networks (i.e.
, Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), and Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DODIIS)/Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)). A successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the functional activities relating to the administration and management of Technology Insertions. The Technology Lead will also be the focal for tasks involving project development and special studies services relating to requirements definition and collection, systems and business analysis, chartering project scope, development of project management plans, and monitoring project execution.
Specific tasks include:Technology Migrations: Leads the contractor support of migrations and/or transitions from a service provider, host environment, hardware/software versions, and/or like capability where the basic functionality, capability, or service remains essentially the same. Defines architecture for Tiers 1, 2, and 3 support for migration services.New Capabilities: Leads contractor support for adding new capabilities or services where the basic functionality, capability, or service has not previously existed or has changed so substantially that end users and technicians cannot reasonably assume to know how to operate the new technology or service.
Business Analysis: Manages performance of business analysis support to assist in the development of initial acquisition recommendations. Analyzes and refines government requirements and/or the results of process mapping to provide an Adopt, Buy, or Create recommendation for new capabilities to improve JECC business, command and control, or collaboration processes.Scope and Requirements Definition: Lead support efforts to assist the Government in developing Project/Study Charter(s) based on government acquisition or development decisions.
Project Planning and Special Study Development: Leads development and maintenance of Project Management Plans (PMPs), Special Studies and associated artifacts and analysis to accomplish each project or study.Required: Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline with 10 years of prior relevant experience Or A Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience Or a PhD with 4 years of experience.Desired: Prior DoD Experience or DoD 8570.
01 IAM III certification: CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, or CCISO.Candidate must be a U.S.
