VP of Engineering – Berlin The company: Amsource are working in partnership with a leading games studio who have built their reputation on bringing back disenfranchised audiences and establishing new to well-loved games. Their portfolio of games user base ranges from 50,000 to 2 million per day and ensuring the games are available for them is of the utmost importance. This is a truly global company with a team of 100 people working completely remotely, in small and well organised teams, reporting in to a small/ flat hierarchy enabling; giving trust and empowering the teams to work autonomously.

The role: This is a brand-new role to lead one of the core studios within the group. You will be taking ownership of the flagship titles and the teams that support them. You will lead a team of fullstack and mobile software engineers and QA teams, making high level decisions and guiding them through technical challenges and ensuring development best practise is adhered to.

Your wider role will support the group, evaluating new projects and acquisitions, as well assisting with the group’s technical direction. About you: · You will be a proven technical leader and guided engineering teams of more than 10. · Be a passionate technologist and will have worked with languages such as: Java, Golang, Python, NodeJS, C# or C++.

· Experience working with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure · Although being a leader, are happy to contribute in a hands-on manner to help your team overcome challenges.
